I haven't left yet but I'm working on it: My trip to Mexico
Tijuana, BC Mexico
I'm currently in Tijuana where I'm going to finalize a few things before I head out.
I need a permit for my car to go into the interior of Mexico, I need to list my gear with customs and I may get a new windshield installed.
Looks like this little trip is really going to happen and I'm excited, anxious, and a little nervous.
My cousin is trying to get me some backing from the Michoacan Film Commission which will help a ton and give my project some legitimacy with the locals. Gracias Lulu! :)
Also a lot of this wouldn't have been possible without my @NinjaFairy9000 helping me out and throwing me some good work before I go. Thank you so much Nina!
Current date of departure is June 1st. and I hope to be down in Parracho in about a week.
The project in my mind has been taking more precise direction after following David Allan Harvey and his trip to Rio. He set out to do a book in 30 days of his travel and we got to follow along on his blog day by day.

He had a great team and great resources on his trip which I assume must be nice to have but as my resources are not as abundant, I will venture forth solo this time around. Besides where I'm going it's not going to be as fast paced as Rio. At least I don't think it is.
It's just a great feeling knowing all of this is going to become a reality real soon.
